Covid-19 and Essential Business Operations

The SMS Group is committed to supporting both our customer base and team members during this difficult time. On March 19, 2020, the Department of Homeland Security issued a “Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During Covid-19 Response.” The SMS Group supports many companies in the region who fall under this designation. We will continue to operate during this crisis and serve our customer base, business as usual. We have initiated a work at home policy with all of our team members and will continue to operate under this condition until this virus is under control.

Everyone must do their part to stop the spread of this virus. By initiating this policy we feel we are keeping our team members safe while supporting the directives the government has communicated to lessen the spread of this virus. Our team members will still be able to serve our mission critical customers during this work from home directive.
